Only ten more days to go until Cricket Week, our annual series of fixtures and events celebrating all of our teams, cricket community and club history. Members (past and present), family and friends are all invited to help celebrate our 148th year!

Here’s a list of the fixtures and events you can expect from each day.

Friday 25 July - Junior 40 over match
Kicking off the week we’re hosting a longer format match for any junior members aged 12+. Players can enjoy the tradition of a Cricket Tea and post match pizza for free!
Tea will be available for parents and spectators at £10pp and can be booked online.
Match Starts: 10.30

Intraclub – SCC Past & Present
Dust of your bat and set your availability for our past and present members match. Tea will be available for and spectators at £10pp and can be booked online.
Match start: 2.30

Saturday 26 July - League Action!
Our league teams will continue with their matches during the day followed by a BBQ. Cricket teas available once again for spectators at £10pp bookable online. You can also sponsor a match ball for either the 1st or 3rd XI in our online shop.

New for 2025 - Race Night! Buy a horse for £5 or sponsor a race for £20. Bets £1 - cash only please! We’ll talk you through each race on the night and explain how to place bets. Doors open 7pm // First race 8pm

Sunday 27 July
T20 is the name of the game on Sunday, and all members (eligible for adult cricket) are invited to take part.

‘T20 Smash’
Our monthly Intraclub game continues and will start at 2pm. Not the only competition to take place on the day, bakers get ready for the great ‘Sidcup CC Bake Off’! We’ll also have our Tombola, table tennis and more in the hall.

Supernovas Special
The Supernovas will be out in force on Sunday as they face each other for their Development League match.

SRFC vs Sidcup CC
Can SCC hold on to their title for our annual match against Sidcup Rugby Club? Always a highlight of the week and starting at 5pm, join us for a BBQ afterwards.

Monday 28 July - Sidcup Falcons T20
Come and watch the Falcons showcase their skills in an evening T20 starting at 5.30pm.

Tuesday 29 July - Vice President’s Day
A full day event! Watch SCC, take on Marylebone CC (MCC) for Vice President’s day, our cricket week finale. Tickets are £35 and include a two course lunch and cricket tea later in the afternoon. Buy your tickets here!

After the match we have our Cricket Week Quiz starting at 8pm. Entry is £5 per person, with a maximum of 8 per team. Turn up on the night (or stay all day!) and pay on the door.

Cricket week is set to be a fantastic showcase of our club cricketers and the perfect opportunity for our cricket community to come together, so don’t miss out!
