Our Under 11 softball team were victorious in their interclub game vs our U9s yesterday.

The team was largely made up of our players who are focusing on developing their skills and game understanding before stepping into the hardball arena. In most cases, players were playing only their first or second game of organised cricket so a huge well done to them. We are very proud are their efforts.

And a huge thank you to those volunteers from our U11s parent group who helped run the game yesterday.

Without people volunteering to assist it is very difficult to run more than two teams as well as being able to facilitate training to help players get into a position where they are ready to play matches. So from me, the rest of the coaching team, and the club as a whole, a huge thank you!!

If anyone is interested in learning to score or umpire, or is interested in helping with coaching or team management, please do reach out. We can arrange coaching and scoring courses to help develop your knowledge and skills; as well as help you put what you learn into practice. The club can only operate with the help of volunteers and next year it would be great if we had enough volunteer coaches and scorers to be able to enter 3 teams into the league to give all our young cricketers the most opportunities to play regular cricket.
